Terms & Conditions

1. The service
Keep My Kin is a private family application operated by MediPaid Technologies Inc.(“we”, “us”). It lets a family store photographs, videos, audio recordings, scanned drawings, letters and documents; record and schedule messages to family members; organise those items around the people they belong to; and generate exports such as PDFs, reels and books.
Keep My Kin is a consumer technology product. It is not a medical, psychological, therapeutic or diagnostic service, and nothing in it should be treated as healthcare advice or treatment.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be an adult of legal age in your jurisdiction to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at support@keepmykin.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Guardian responsibility and child profiles
Children do not hold their own Keep My Kin accounts. A child appears as a profile inside a family, created and controlled by an adult guardian. Child Mode is a restricted view of a guardian’s own session, opened deliberately by that guardian on a device they control.
By adding a child profile or uploading content depicting a child, you confirm that you are that child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have that person’s permission. You are responsible for what is uploaded about the children in your family and for who you invite into it.
4. Family invitations
You may invite other adults into your family. An invited adult can see the family’s memories and send messages; the roles available determine whether they can also add or remove family members and delete memories. Invitations expire, can be revoked, and can be used once. Invite only people you intend to give access to your family’s private records.
5. Your content, and the licence we need
Everything you upload remains yours. We claim no ownership of your photographs, recordings, drawings, letters or stories.
To operate the service we need a limited licence to host, store, transmit, encode, resize, and render your content — for example to produce a thumbnail, a cleaned scan derivative, or a PDF you asked for. That licence exists only to provide Keep My Kin to you and the people in your family. We do not use your family’s content to advertise, to train models, or to show it to anyone outside your family.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Keep My Kin to:
- upload content you do not have the right to upload
- upload content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child
- upload unlawful, harassing or abusive material
- attempt to access another family's account, records or files
- probe, scan or interfere with the service's security or availability
- resell or redistribute the service
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section. Where the law requires us to report certain material, we will.
7. Storage allowances
Each plan includes a storage allowance, shown in the app. Free storage is limited and is never described as unlimited. If you reach your allowance you can download and remove content, or upgrade.
We do not delete your memories because you exceeded a quota. Reaching the limit prevents new uploads; it does not destroy what you have already preserved.
8. Plans, subscriptions and renewal
Keep My Kin offers a free plan (Family Home) and a paid plan (Keep My Kin+), billed monthly or annually at the prices shown at checkout.
Where you pay with a method that supports automatic renewal, your subscription renews at the end of each period until you cancel, and this is labelled “Renews automatically” at checkout. Some local payment channels cannot charge you again without your action; those are labelled “Manual renewal required” and will simply lapse. We will not imply automatic renewal for a method that cannot do it.
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
9. One-time purchases
You may buy individual premium exports without subscribing. A one-time purchase unlocks the specific export it was bought for, and does not grant the wider Keep My Kin+ feature set.
10. Payments
Payments are processed by our payment partners. We do not collect or store your full card number or security code. We keep a record of the transaction — amount, currency, method, status and the provider’s reference — so we can support you and meet our accounting obligations.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
11. Exports and downloads
Free exports may include a Keep My Kin end card or footer. Removing it is a paid feature.
Your originals are never held hostage. You can download the original files you uploaded regardless of your plan, subject only to reasonable account-verification and security controls.
12. Deletion and termination
You may delete individual memories, remove family members, or close your account. Deleting a memory removes the files behind it that nothing else in your family references.
We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where we are required to by law. Except where content is unlawful, we will make a reasonable effort to let you export your family archive first.
13. Availability, backups and your own copies
We work to keep Keep My Kin available and your content intact, and we preserve your original uploads rather than replacing them with compressed derivatives. We cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service.
Keep My Kin is a place to preserve memories, not a substitute for your own backups. For anything irreplaceable, please keep a copy elsewhere too.
14. Disclaimers and liability
Except where the law says otherwise, the service is provided as-is, and we do not give warranties that it will meet every requirement or be free of faults.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
15. Changes
We may change the service and these terms. For changes that materially affect your rights we will give reasonable notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use Keep My Kin after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
